Announcement of the National Bureau of Statistics

In order to truly and accurately monitor and reflect China’s employment situation, and provide a basis for the party and the government to formulate employment policies and improve employment services, according to the arrangement of the national statistical survey system, the National Bureau of Statistics will continue to organize labor force surveys this year. The relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:
I. Scope of investigation:Urban and rural areas of 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) in China.
Second, the survey registration object:Family households and collective households in this community (village) selected by the National Bureau of Statistics according to the sampling method. The person who should be registered in the drawn household is:
(a) people living in the household at the time of investigation;
(two) the household registered population, people who have been out for less than half a year.
Third, the investigation time:Generally 10-mdash per month; On 16th, if affected by legal holidays, the investigation time will be adjusted appropriately.
Fourth, the survey method:By the government statistical investigation agencies to send investigators to the community (village) was drawn in the household registration. When an investigator registers at home, he shall produce the work certificate issued by the statistical agency of the people’s government at or above the county level.
According to the Statistics Law of the People’s Republic of China, citizens have the obligation to truthfully provide the information needed for the national statistical investigation. Government statistical investigation institutions and investigators at all levels must keep confidential the personal information of the respondents.
Please all sectors of society, especially the households selected as the survey objects, actively support and cooperate with the government statistical survey.
